1 General provisions
1.1
The website www.saltynfree.com (“Webshop”) is operated by Schatz & Leu GmbH, Brandschenkestrasse 178, 8002 Zurich, Switzerland, registered under company number CHE-169.946.175.
1.2
Throughout the Website, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Schatz & Leu GmbH.
1.3
The availability and uninterrupted functionality of the Webshop cannot be guaranteed at all times.
1.4
The business relationship between Schatz & Leu GmbH and the customer (“you”) is governed by these Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) as well as any individual agreements expressly confirmed by Schatz & Leu GmbH.
1.5
These T&C apply exclusively between you and Schatz & Leu GmbH and supersede any conflicting or deviating terms unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
1.6
By using the Webshop and placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these T&C.
1.7
Our Webshop is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform enabling us to sell our products and services.
2 Ordering
2.1
We strive to display product images and colours as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that the display on your device reflects the actual product colours.
2.2
The presentation of products on the Webshop constitutes a non-binding invitation to submit an order. By placing an order, you submit a binding offer to purchase the selected products.
2.3
The automated order confirmation sent by email does not constitute acceptance of the offer. A binding contract is concluded only when the products are dispatched.
2.4
By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have obtained consent from a legal guardian.
2.5
Schatz & Leu GmbH reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders at its discretion, including in cases of suspected misuse, fraud, or unavailability of products.
2.6
If ordered products are unavailable, you will be informed without undue delay. In such cases, no contract is concluded for the unavailable products.
3 Prices and taxes
3.1
All prices are stated in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include the applicable statutory VAT.
3.2
Shipping costs are displayed separately during checkout and depend on the selected delivery method.
3.3
Shipping outside Switzerland may incur additional charges such as customs duties or local taxes, which are borne by the customer. At present, shipping outside Switzerland may be limited.
3.4
Schatz & Leu GmbH reserves the right to change prices at any time. The price applicable is the one displayed at the time of order.
4 Payment
4.1
The payment methods available are displayed during checkout.
4.2
Payment is processed through third-party payment service providers. Schatz & Leu GmbH does not store or have access to full payment details.
4.3
Payment data is encrypted during transmission.
4.4
If payment authorization is refused or reversed, Schatz & Leu GmbH may cancel the order and suspend delivery.
4.5
By selecting a payment method, you acknowledge that the respective payment provider processes your data independently in accordance with its own privacy policies.
5 Delivery
5.1
Delivery methods and estimated delivery times are indicated in the Webshop.
5.2
Order processing generally takes 1–3 business days. Delivery times are approximate and may vary.
5.3
Schatz & Leu GmbH is not liable for delivery delays caused by third parties or circumstances beyond its control.
5.4
Ownership of the goods remains with Schatz & Leu GmbH until full payment has been received.
6 Warranty and liability
6.1
Products are covered by a statutory warranty for manufacturing defects. Please inspect products upon receipt and notify us promptly of any defects.
6.2
In the event of a justified warranty claim, the defective product will be replaced or repaired at our discretion. Further claims are excluded to the extent permitted by law.
6.3
Schatz & Leu GmbH excludes liability for indirect or consequential damages to the extent legally permissible.
7 Data protection
7.1
The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these T&C.
8 Intellectual property
8.1
All content on www.saltynfree.com, including texts, images, graphics and designs, is protected by intellectual property rights held by Schatz & Leu GmbH.
8.2
Any reproduction, distribution or use of Website content without prior written consent is prohibited.
9 Closing provisions
9.1
The Webshop and products are offered in accordance with Swiss law. Schatz & Leu GmbH assumes no liability for compliance with foreign legal requirements.
9.2
Information provided on the Webshop is non-binding and subject to change.
9.3
If any provision of these T&C is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain unaffected.
9.4
The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from these T&C is Zurich, Switzerland. Schatz & Leu GmbH may alternatively bring proceedings at your place of residence.
9.5
These T&C and all contractual relationships are governed exclusively by substantive Swiss law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
