Christina was born in Amsterdam and later moved to Switzerland, where
she worked as an artist, art teacher, and dancer. After a transformative
time in Ibiza, she founded Salty & Free in 2020 – inspired by the
island’s free-spirited energy and her own journey through a challenging
chapter in life.

"There was a time when it felt like I had hit a dead end. I felt stuck. Someone once told me that the Chinese word for ‘crisis’ also means ‘opportunity.’ That thought stayed with me. And slowly, a new path began to take shape. I learned to live differently – with strength, lightness, and the courage to follow my own truth.That shift became the seed for Salty & Free.
